We don't stop NFL stylists anymore. This Tuesday, it's the Houston Texans' turn to present new jerseys.
The idea is exactly the same as for the Denver Broncos: modernize a look that was starting to smell very strongly of the early 2000s.
The recipe is also the same: we remove the superfluous inserts, we modernize the sleeves a little and we play on the local identity.
For the home jersey, the blue is deeper, returning to the color used in 2000 for the launch of the franchise. The Texans inscription turns red and the logo appears on the sleeve.
On the exterior, the most noticeable change is to the numbers, which go from red to blue. The third red outfit is retained, with a matching helmet on which the logo is replaced by horns.
A new H-Town jersey for the Texans
Another new feature, Houston becomes H-Town, with a nod to the Oilers, the city's NFL franchise that has moved to Tennessee. We find the logo revealed a few days ago, with sky and red shades.
An outfit accompanied by another helmet, which brings the team's total to three possibilities!
The Texans follow the New York Jets, Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos in the list of teams that have presented a new jersey in recent days.
