Head to the Eagles for Devin White

Experience on defense for a team and player looking for a fresh start.

Almost a year ago, Devin White demanded his transfer, not satisfied with the negotiations for a contract extension

Now, the 26-year-old has taken some time to find a new contract. Proof that few teams were banking on him as linebacker during this signing period

Finally, Devin White accepted a one-year, $7.5 million contract with the Eagles this Thursday. He is the 7th recruit of this free agency for the Eagles, who notably signed Saquon Barkley and Bryce Huff during this period.

2 interceptions in 2023

After very convincing first years, the last 2 seasons in the Buccaneers jersey did not live up to the hopes placed in him.

Despite 2 interceptions in 2023 and a decent season, the Buccaneers preferred to keep Lavonte David. The Florida front office is also giving recent drafted rookie SirVocea Dennis a chance.

In 5 years, the former 5th pick of the 2019 Draft played 76 games with Tampa Bay. His statistical record is rather positive: 566 tackles, 23 sacks, 3 interceptions, 6 forced fumbles and 9 covered fumbles. In 2020, he won the Super Bowl against the Chiefs, and was even individually rewarded with a selection to the 2nd team All-Pro.

After the departure of Zach Cunningham and the failed Shaquille Leonard experiment, the Eagles are once again trying to revive a player who is losing momentum. His experience could help in the progression of young Nakobe Dean and Nolan Smith.
