Giants: Kenny Golladay cut

Two seasons and nothing very convincing to put in their mouths. Kenny Golladay will not be remembered by Giants fans. According to ESPN, the franchise will part ways with the catcher on March 15, the official date of the NFL New Year.

Golladay had however joined New York with great fanfare in 2021 for a four-year contract and 72 million dollars, which he has not paid for in the least. In 2022, in particular, he only received 6 balls for 81 yards and 1 touchdown.

With this cut, the new management of the Giants draws a line under one of the worst decisions of the Dave Gettleman era. The departure of Kenny Golladay allows the franchise to save $6.7 million in salary margin while leaving $14.7 million in dead cap.
