Like every offseason, the Colts have recruited a quarterback, the 5th in five seasons. According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, Gardner Minshew has signed up for one season with Indianapolis. A one-season lease for an amount of 3.5 million dollars which can rise up to 5.5 million depending on the bonuses.
But this season, this recruitment should not be intended to lead the attack. Selecting in 4th position in the next draft, it is very likely that the franchise is betting on their future titular quarterback for the occasion.
Jalen Hurts’ understudy at the Eagles in 2022, Minshew completed 44 passes for 663 yards, 3 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
