Gardner Minshew arrives in Las Vegas. Objective ? Beating competition from Aidan O'Connell for the starting job
Gardner Minshew and his mustache are coming to Las Vegas! Ian Rapoport reports the news. The quarterback signed a two-year contract with the franchise.
Having started almost the entire season for the Colts following the injury to Anthony Richardson, Gardner Minshew was not unworthy. Motivated and combative, the quarterback was able to count on Shane Steichen's schemes to give his all and almost lead the Colts into the playoffs.
He finished the season with 3,305 yards thrown, 15 touchdowns and 9 interceptions in 17 games played.
In Las Vegas, the pitcher will therefore compete with Aidan O'Connell for the starting position. Unless the franchise attempts an additional move for the quarterback squad.
