Gabriel Davis (Jaguars) injured, end of a disappointing season

Gabriel Davis (WR) is out for the remainder of the season. Doug Pederson (HC) confirmed the news at a press conference. NFL Media sheds more light on the injury. The Jaguars receiver suffers from a meniscus fracture contracted during the debacle against the Lions.

The operation is necessary to repair the damaged knee. During surgery, doctors will assess the severity of the injury.

Season to forget for Gabriel Davis and the Jaguars

The Jaguars currently have the worst record in the league (2-9). Their hopes of the playoffs dissipated, the only expectation remains the return from injury of Trevor Lawrence. The numerous actions of the offseason fueled hope for a time. But like a symbol, Gabriel Davis, comes to completely close this chapter in spite of himself.

The receiver, who arrived in the 2024 off-season, for 3 years and 39 million euros, has never convinced. He accumulated only 20 receptions for 239 yards and 2 touchdowns in 10 games. The rebound is expected for the franchise and the player in 2025.
