It’s the return of the Fantasy section on DNA of Sports, every Saturday find our tips, our favorites, and the pitfalls to avoid.
The absents
The 2021 attacking player is on the flank for several weeks, and the managers who placed him on the insult reserve this week, in addition to wiping their tears, will have to find a satisfactory alternative. In Ohio, Ja’Marr Chase will again be absent.
Miami Arrows at rest, point providers will have to be elsewhere. The new darling of runners Kenneth Walker is also bye this week.
Quarterbacks
The safe bet: Kirk Cousins. His duet with Justin Jefferson needs no introduction. Faced with a losing Dallas defense, Cousins can continue their streak at home with an average of 22 points since the start of the season.
The bet: Russell Wilson. Are there still reasons to believe it? Probably not ? But what’s worse than the Denver attack? The Raiders defense. What to think that Wilson could finally find his going.
Avoid: Matthew Stafford. Only one being is missing and everything is depopulated. Cooper Kupp’s injury doesn’t bode well for the Rams or their quarterback’s stats.
Running back
The safe bet: David Montgomery. Herbert on the flank, Montgomery should find more scope. In an attack that is doing better and against a defense that has conceded at least 18 points in four straight games, the Wind City rider could have one of his best weekends of the season.
The bet: Antonio Gibson. His ability to contribute out of the backfield remains a strong point against the team that allows the most points for the running back. In flex or even 2nd runner, Gibson could be a payoff bet.
Avoid: D’Andre Swift. Reduced to a role of asserting since his physical glitches, Swift is in the shadow of Jamaal Williams. This week should confirm this trend.
Receivers
The safe bet: Amon Ra St. Brown. Again in sight (22.10 point) after a complicated month of October, St. Brown will still be the main support for Jared Goff, still deprived of Chark.
The bet: Kadarius Toney. He showed more in 2 games with the Chiefs than in a year and a half with New York. At ease in Andy Reid’s attack, Toney could continue his rise, perhaps taking advantage of Smith-Schuster’s agency.
Avoid: DJ Moore. With Baker Mayfield back at the head of the attack, David Moore could fall back into anonymity and drag out his sentence again on the ground.
Tight-end
The safe bet: Tyler Higbee. Cooper Kupp absent, Matt Stafford will need lairs, and his tight end should be a value on the number of balls captured.
The bet: Hayden Hurst. Still without Chase, Burrow must seek targets elsewhere. With Minkah Fitzpatrick very uncertain, the player could gain freedom and become a good plan in a season where few tight ends offer guaranteed points.
Avoid: Kyle Pitts. Still as far from its 2021 standards, Pitts remains far too uncertain a value to continue to take risks.
