[Fantasy] Week 10: Smith-Schuster new chef

It’s the return of the Fantasy section on DNA of Sports, every Saturday find our tips, our favorites, and the pitfalls to avoid.

The absents

The hero of week 9 is resting. Joe Mixon and his nearly 50 points will be missed by any manager who counts on him. With him his quarterback Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins. Another owner also in bye: Lamar Jackson.

In terms of injuries and sores, Justin Herbert will again be orphaned by Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.

Quarterbacks

The safe bet: Tua Tagovailoa. On fire for several weeks thanks in particular to its two arrows, Tagovailoa should still be the cornerstone of your attack.
The bet: Justin Fields. Much better for 2 games, the young Bears pitcher seems to be gaining confidence. 6 touchdowns and a single interception in the last 3 games as well as a running touchdown in each of these outings, Fields is establishing himself as a good fantasy value (especially in superflex formats). Faced with the fragile defense of Detroit, he could still accumulate the points.
Avoid: Justin Herbert. The 49ers concede only 15 points on average to the opposing quarterback. When in addition, Herbert must compose without his two main receivers, it might be wise to let him breathe.

Running back

The safe bet: Jamaal Williams. With a diminished Swift still affected by a lighter load, Williams continues the satisfying weeks. A solid number 2 in your lineup who challenges a fragile team against the runners and could allow them points.
The bet: Antonio Gibson. Facing an undefeated team is not necessarily a guarantee of success, but the Eagles have shown that they are not infallible against the run as proved by Pierce’s 139 yards in week 9. Also capable of catching many balls , Gibson could be a measured risk.
Avoid: Najee Harris. Long and sad season for an unrecognizable Najee Harris. Faced with a Saints defense still solid on the ground as shown by the 43 yards conceded to Josh Jacobs.

Receivers

The safe bet: Juju Smith-Schuster. Hard-hitting at last, the former Steeler has found his feet in the Chiefs’ offense and his connection to Mahomes is starting to work full throttle. With the absence of Recolle Hardam, he will be the natural target of his quarterback with the ubiquitous Kelce. Enough to score big points against the Jaguars defense.
The bet: Jerry Jeudy. With more than 16 points in these last two games, the Bronco is gaining momentum and getting along better and better with Wilson. Facing the 30th defense against the pass, the evening could be prolific for Jeudy.
Avoid: Michael Pittman. No touchdown since the first week, Pittman is not on a big dynamic. With an Ehlinger who does not reassure the pass, not sure that he has fun against the Raiders

Tight-end

The safe bet: Dalton Schultz. With 3 touchdowns allowed at the tight ends in the past two weeks, the Packers have the right client’s head for a big night of Schultz finally getting rid of his physical glitches.
The bet: Cade Otton. On the spur of his first career touchdown, Otton could find a sweet spot in the Seattle defense and provide the safety valve that Brady loves so much.
Avoid: Dawson Knox. Not very productive in the game, Knox depends on his ability to score. Facing the Vikings and their solid second curtain, the matchup does not seem ideal.

Top 5 waivers of the week

1. Jeff Wilson – RB
2. Cole Kmet – TE
3. Wan’Dale Robinson – WR
4. Cade Otton – TE
5. Samori Toure – WR

The Griz’League

Tiffany still prances in the lead after her victory over Brice. Our photographer is more than ever on his way to the playoffs. Behind a trio clings. Alain moved up to 2nd thanks to his victory over Alex, while Elioth’s good series came to an end against Gregory. As announced, the red lantern has started its recovery and does not give up its chances of playoffs.

Antoine beats Victor by a short header and recovers after last week’s slap against Tiffany. In the chasing pack, Xavier easily won against Mathieu carried by 55 points from Joe Mixon. Romain intends to defend his title until the end. Jefferson and Kelce helped him beat Marco and stay in the game.
