A year and $5 million. Those are the terms of Bud Dupree’s lease with the Falcons. This is announced by NFL Media.
Cut by the Titans after two disappointing seasons, the linebacker will therefore try to relaunch himself in a team which has signed an ambitious offseason on the defensive level, in particular with the arrivals of Calais Campbell, Jessie Bates and Jeffrey Okudah.
Author of 4 sacks in 11 games last season, Dupree is far from his best level (11.5 sacks in 2019), but at this price, he could be an interesting contribution. Still only 30 years old, he may still have things to contribute. At a minimum, it will be an addition of experience.
