Ezekiel Elliott strengthens the Patriots

A duo Rhamondre Stevenson – Ezekiel Elliott on the ground promising on the side of Foxborough.

After DeAndre Hopkins (Titans) and Teddy Bridgewater (Lions), another player in our top 5 players remaining in attack in free agency has just found a new team.

According to NFL Network, Ezekiel Elliott will join the New England Patriots.

A few days ago, the former running back of the Cowboys had visited the facilities of Bill Belichick’s team. This visit was therefore conclusive since he signed a one-year contract for 6 million dollars, fully guaranteed.

At 27, cut by the Cowboys during free agency, Elliott will try to revive his career in a franchise that needed help behind Rhamondre Stevenson. A franchise that has had very good runners in the recent past such as James White, Damien Harris, who left for Buffalo, or the newly retired Sony Michel.

In 2022, Elliott played 15 games, rushed for 876 yards and scored 12 touchdowns with the Cowboys.

After JuJu Smith-Schuster and Mike Gesicki in the air, the Patriots therefore offer themselves a new recruit of choice and experience on the ground to advance the ball.
