ELF: another defeat for the Paris Musketeers

Another trip to Germany and another defeat for the Parisian team. The third in a row this season.

The weeks follow each other and begin to resemble each other for the Musketeers. Again opposed to a German team on a field across the Rhine, the Ile-de-France have fallen again. This is the third week in a row that the Musketeers have lost to a German team.

After the Surge and the Rhein Fire, it’s the Frankfurt Galaxy’s turn to win against the Parisian team (30-13), Saturday during the fourth day of the regular season.

Better but…

Unlike the heavy defeat of last week, the Musketeers enter their match well in attack. The ground game with Bofunda proves that it is interesting with a touchdown and a nice run of 57 yards for the runner. Paris scores two touchdowns in the first act and remains level with the score at halftime (20-13).

Unfortunately, the defense of the Parisians is still lagging behind in the first half and collects three touchdowns. Once again, the air defense of the visitors is prohibitive to hope to win. The Galaxy finished the game with an average of 8.7 passing yards…

In the second half, Paris saw its defense wake up and only conceded a touchdown and 10 points in total. But it is in attack that the shoe pinches with: 4 punts, 1 interception and 1 failed fourth attempt. Zach Edwards and his teammates are unable to find fault with the Frankfurt players.

Inevitably, the visitors therefore logically lost 30 to 13 in this fourth match. With a balance sheet of 1-3, the Parisian team must quickly raise the bar. We can only hope that the return to the Jean-Bouin stadium, next Saturday against the Hamburg Sea Devils, will relaunch a positive dynamic around the young franchise. In any case, the Musketeers will need support!
