Eagles move up one spot to pick up Jalen Carter

Howie Roseman stayed true to his principles. His love of the lines is no longer to be proven, and the Eagles have gone up a choice to recover the best player available, Jalen Carter. In exchange, the Bears receive the 10th pick and a 4th-round pick next year.

If his qualities as a player are undeniable, legal concerns have damaged his side. Announced as a choice of the top 5 without any possible discussion, he ends his (short) fall to the 9th choice, in Philadelphia.

The Eagles compensate position for position the departure of Javon Hargrave in San Francisco. With Carter, Philadelphia recovers a powerful, agile and enduring player despite his imposing physique. With Fletcher Cox, Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Haason Reddick, Jordan Davis and company, the Eagles’ front seven therefore remains one of the best in the NFL.
