Eagles – Jaguars (28-23): Trevor Lawrence on the verge of achievement

Philadelphia Eagles (6-2) – Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7): 28-23

You should never take your foot off the gas in the NFL. Even against a suffering team. With a fiery Saquon Barkley (27 races, 159 yards 1 TD – 3 rec, 40 yards, 1 TD), the Eagles quietly led 22-0 in the third quarter. Something to see coming.

But Trevor Lawrence (16/31, 169 yards, 2 int) and his Jaguars finally decided to wake up after a catastrophic first half. They then embarked on a crazy comeback, which even allowed them to have the ball with two minutes to play and only five points behind. Except that Lawrence sent the match ball into the hands of Nakobe Dean, author of the interception which ultimately saved the Eagles' victory.

All that for the Jaguars side. A much more complicated victory than it should have been for Philadelphia.

Saquon Barkley, Royal Eagles

This match will surely be remembered for a long time thanks to one action. A jump by Saquon Barkley over the top as a Jaguars defender… in reverse.

A little masterpiece in the image of the runner's match, a true jack of all trades in the attack. It was he who opened the scoring, then doubled the lead to allow his team to lead 16-0 at the break. Then Jalen Hurts (18/24, 230 yards, 2 TDs) added a touchdown on the ground for 22-0.

But Philadelphia also left points along the way, notably with missed fourth attempts. And it could have cost them dearly…

The Jaguars are starting… finally

With 37 yards gained in the first 35 minutes of play, it's an understatement to say that the Jaguars were hard to see. But a touchdown from Lawrence on the ground, then a fumble from Barkley recovered and transformed into a touchdown by Travon Walker completely restarted the game in the third quarter. Because with two two-point conversions as a bonus, here is Jacksonville six lengths (22-16)!

DeVonta Smith (4 rec, 87 yards, 1 TD) responds, but Trevor Lawrence scores again on the ground. Especially since Philadelphia misses a field goal. The Jaguars leave midfield with a little over 2 minutes on the clock. But it's Nakobe Dean who saves Philly and pushes Jacksonville.
