Eagles: AJ Brown forfeits against the Buccaneers

Things are really not going well at the moment for the reigning NFC champion. NFL Media announces that AJ Brown will miss Sunday's game between the Eagles and the Buccaneers.

The receiver injured his knee in the last regular season game, and he is not sufficiently recovered to face Tampa. The little good news is that he could make his return the following week if the Eagles manage to qualify.

End of series with Philadelphia for AJ Brown

Since his arrival at the Eagles last season, AJ Brown had not missed a single game. His beautiful series therefore ends at the worst time.

While Philadelphia lost its last two regular season games, Jalen Hurts will be without a player who has accumulated 106 receptions, 1,456 yards and 7 touchdowns this season.

The pressure is more than ever on the shoulders of Devonta Smith (81 rec, 1066 yards, 7 TDs), his usual lieutenant.
