[Draft 2022] The 324 players invited to the Combine

The next step leading us to the 2022 Draft has arrived. After a year-long hiatus due to the pandemic, the traditional Combine is back in Indianapolis, not without some adjustments to the program.

For this edition, 324 players have been selected by the organizing committee to participate in medical tests, series of interviews and workshops on the pitch in order to demonstrate their abilities. 106 college programs are represented, ranging from national champions Georgia to Culver-Stockton College, an NAIA (private) school. Among them, Georgia (14), Alabama (11), Oklahoma (11), and LSU (9) will field the most athletes. Unsurprisingly, the SEC conference is the most prominent with 82 attendees, followed by the Big Ten (54) and Pac-12 (36). The Sun Belt, for its part, brings up the rear (6). 21 players from the FCS championship will also be there.
