Dorian Thompson-Robinson (QB, Browns) and Drew Lock (QB, Giants) will take control of their respective teams in week 16 (NFLTradeRumors). Drew Lock gave way to Tommy DeVito in the last game due to a heel injury. Dorian Thompson-Robinson lost his position to Jameis Winston when Deshaun Watson was injured. With only 7 games played as a starter, Winston is the fifth quarterback with the most interceptions (12). His last game with 3 interceptions was the straw that broke the camel's back for Kevin Stefanski.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Drew Lock, waiting for the next generation
Thompson-Robinson and Lock are not long-term solutions for NFL franchises. The Cleveland quarterback has a rating of 16.4 with 3 interceptions thrown in four games for no touchdowns. The New Yorker did better with a score of 54.6 and only one touchdown scored (on the ground). The Browns and Giants have records of 3 wins for 11 losses and 2 wins for 11 losses, respectively. The two quarterbacks will therefore not have the pressure of results at the end of the season. Their respective leaders must certainly look towards the draft.
