Dolphins – Panthers (42-21): a rocket that runs on diesel

Miami Dolphins (5-1) – Carolina Panthers (0-6): 42-21

Maybe the cold is coming to Florida. Or that Tua Tagovailoa (21/31, 262 yards, 3 TDs) and his teammates neglected the warm-up a little. The surprise was complete when Carolina finished the first quarter with a 14-0 advantage. But that’s where the party ended for Bryce Young (23/38, 217 yards, 1 TD) and his teammates.

Raheem Mostert (17 carries, 115 yards, 2 TDs – 3 rec, 17 yards, 1 TD), Jaylen Waddle (7 rec, 51 yards, 1 TD) and Tyreek Hill (6 rec, 163 yards, 1 TD) scored in the following minutes to put Miami back in front, 21-14 at the break.

Dolphins on the offensive again

Returning from the locker room, even though Miami punted on its first possession, Mostert quickly put his foot back on the accelerator, with two consecutive touchdowns to definitively kill the game.

To the point that Mike McDaniel even ended up bringing out Tua Tagovailoa, to give Mike White some playing time. A confidence that was not really rewarded, since the replacement quarterback was immediately intercepted, with a touchdown to boot for the Panthers defense. His stat sheet is probably the worst possible: 0/1 for an interception.

Adam Thielen, Panthers hero

If Carolina seemed to be able to worry Miami for a time, it’s because Bryce Young was able to rely on Adam Thielen (11 rec, 115 yards, 1 TD) who continues to have an incredible season. In the midst of an offensive struggle, the Vikings must miss their former receiver.

Chubba Hubbard (19 races, 88 yards, 1 TD) also got his hands dirty with the first touchdown of the match.

But when Miami accelerates, there is nothing to do.
