The offensive weapon race continues for the Falcons. After signing Kirk Cousins, Atlanta decided to acquire Darnell Mooney on Tuesday. The receiver commits for three seasons, 39 million (including 26 guaranteed) with the Georgia franchise. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports the news.
For the Bears since entering the league, Darnell Mooney has accumulated 213 receptions for 2,593 yards and 11 touchdowns. The player recorded 61 receptions last year for 631 yards and 4 touchdowns.
With the Falcons, he will occupy the number 2 position.
