Cowboys: Season over for Trevon Diggs

Victim of an injury in training, the cornerback will miss the remainder of the 2023 season.

Hard blow for the Cowboys defense. Cornerback Trevon Diggs was injured in practice this Thursday during a one-on-one confrontation. After having an MRI, a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament was diagnosed.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media announces a rushed end to the season for the 25-year-old defender. He is expected to be placed on injured reserve in the coming days.

The Texan defensive squad lost an important player who made his first interception of the season against the Jets. In their misfortune, the Cowboys will have the opportunity to reassure themselves on Sunday against the Cardinals.
