Commanders: Taylor Heinicke back… with Sam Howell

A small turn and then goes away. Barely time to throw three interceptions in the defeat depriving his team of the playoffs, that Carson Wentz will be returned to the bench.

According to ESPN, the Commanders will return to Taylor Heinicke for the final game of the season against the Cowboys. But there is a surprise! Because Sam Howell, rookie quarterback selected in the fifth round of the last Draft, should also have playing time.

Howell didn’t play a single minute in the regular season, but he was pretty interesting in all three preseason games. He had notably made a record of 24/35 for 280 yards and 1 touchdown against the Ravens.

Howell threw 92 touchdowns for 23 interceptions during his college career with North Carolina.

The game against Dallas is without stake for Washington.
