Colts: Anthony Richardson out for a game… or a month

New injury for Anthony Richardson. The Colts quarterback was hit in the right shoulder. According to ESPN, the first diagnosis is a level 3 acromioclavicular sprain.

If this diagnosis is confirmed, Richardson’s absence could be at least a month. The player and the Colts decided to see another doctor to get a second opinion.

What is certain is that Richardson will be absent in Week 6 against the Jaguars.

Second absence of the season for Anthony Richardson

If he is spectacular, the Colts rookie quarterback is also a player who takes a lot of hits. In his first match, he was out because of a blow to the knee. In the second week, he suffered a concussion that took him out of the third game.

Each time, it was Gardner Minshew who took over. This will therefore still be the case against Jacksonville.

The Colts are one of the surprises of the season, with three victories in five games. Minshew will be able to count on the support of Zack Moss and the hoped-for rise in power of Jonathan Taylor, discreet for his first match after signing his new contract.
