Anthony Richardson will return Sunday against the Rams. The player is out of the concussion protocol and therefore resumes his starting place.
Anthony Richardson is back!
The first-year quarterback will start for the Colts this Sunday. It was Shane Steichen, coach of the Colts, who announced the news this Friday at a press conference.
Richardson had to leave his teammates in Week 2 after a concussion and also missed last week’s game against the Ravens. Gardner Minshew therefore finds the bench.
Against the Rams, Richardson will therefore have the opportunity to confirm his interesting start to the season. With 279 yards and 1 touchdown thrown, the young thrower also distinguished himself on the ground with 3 touchdowns in two games.
On the other hand, Anthony Richardson could be deprived of two offensive linemen. Ryan Kelly and Bernhard Raimann are both still in the concussion protocol.
