The famous video game developer announced this Tuesday on its social networks that CMC would be on the cover of Madden 25, which is scheduled for release on August 16. This nomination rewards the extraordinary season that McCaffrey had in 2023-24 (2,023 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns in total, one participation in the Super Bowl). It remains to be seen whether McCaffrey will also be a victim of the “Madden Cover Curse” which has affected a number of players before him (Shaun Alexander in 2007, Drew Brees in 2011, Rob Gronkowski in 2017, to name a few) …
