Chiefs: Steve Spagnuolo extends!

Steve Spagnulo and the Chiefs continue their story together!

The good news keeps coming for the Chiefs. After the superb victory in the Super Bowl, Kansas City announced this Wednesday the extension of Steve Spagnuolo.

The franchise communicated about this agreement on its social networks. For the moment, no details have been provided either on the duration of the extension or the very likely salary increase that goes with it.

As a reminder, Steve Spagnuolo's contract was about to expire, so there was urgency.

A more than logical decision for the Chiefs. The defensive coordinator is the one for the team's three titles during the Andy Reid era. Spagnuolo won his 4th championship ring with this title.

This season more than ever, his defense has been the champions' strong point. 2nd in the league in points conceded, no more than 30 points taken this season or the explosion of players like Trent McDuffie or La'Jarius Sneed are all elements to put to Spagnuolo's credit.
