Indeed, the Chiefs' title celebration parade ended in a shootout Wednesday in Kansas City. Reported at 2 p.m. (local time) on social networks then quickly confirmed by the police and local media, the shooting left several injured and at least one dead (Editor’s note: at the time of writing this article).
The city police reported arresting two suspects, quickly taken into custody. Videos on X show that residents allegedly helped arrest one of the suspects.
Chiefs players have already increased calls for prayers and condolences to the families of the injured.
