Chiefs – Ravens at the start of the 2024 season

The two-time reigning champions face the Ravens obstacle in the quest for the treble

The Chiefs and Ravens will open the 2024 season on the night of Thursday, September 5, 2024. The NFL announced it, information confirmed by ESPN.

A Patrick Mahomes versus Lamar Jackson duel that will make you salivate, and which will set the tone for a highly anticipated 2024 season. The rest of the calendar will be revealed on May 15, 2024.

A revenge for the Ravens

The Chiefs and the Ravens will meet for the 2nd time in 2024. The last time was during the AFC conference final at the end of January 2024. A game which saw the Chiefs qualify for their 3rd Super Bowl in 5 years.

The Kansas City franchise already had the honors of hosting in the opening match last season. It ended in a loss to the Lions 21-20. Lamar Jackson will therefore be keen to imitate Jared Goff, and get his team's season off to a good start.

The match will take place at the Chiefs' stadium at Arrowhead Stadium.
