Chargers: Mike Williams ruled out until Super Bowl

Hard blow for Justin Herbert. Two days before the Wild Cards confrontation against the Jaguars, the sentence fell for Mike Williams, injured in the back during the last game of the regular season game against the Broncos. According to Lindsay Thiry (ESPN), the receiver is injured for two to three weeks.

Except for a route to the Super Bowl and a possible return for the Big Game, the play-offs would therefore already be over for the 28-year-old receiver.

Already injured during the season (only 11 games played), Mike Williams is nonetheless the most prolific receiver in Los Angeles this season with 895 receiving yards, along with 4 touchdowns.

The band of Justin Herbert will therefore have to fall back on the other safe bet, Keenan Allen, but also the surprise of the season, Josh Palmer (769 yards, 3 TD), to overcome Jacksonville this Sunday.
