Chargers: Justin Herbert fractured a finger

An injury without major consequences since it concerns a finger of the left hand.

NFL Media reports that Justin Herbert has been diagnosed with a fractured middle finger on his left hand. He is also affected in the nail. The young Californian pitcher allegedly stuck his finger in a helmet during the game against Las Vegas.

Despite everything, the injury has no direct impact on the availability of the Los Angeles quarterback, since he was able to finish the match against the Raiders with a splint. Additionally, the Chargers are rested in Week 5, which will allow time for recovery before facing the Cowboys in Monday night’s Week 6 game.

Against Las Vegas, Herbert completed 13 passes on 27 attempts, for 167 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. On the ground, he attempted 12 carries for a result of 27 yards and 2 touchdowns.
