Chandler Jones hospitalized against his will!

A return under the colors of the Raiders moves away again for the pass rusher.

The month of September continues to be hectic for Chandler Jones (DE) in Las Vegas. After a series of messages on social networks scratching his franchise and the arrival of an intervention team at his home, the former Cardinals player reveals that he was forcibly hospitalized last week.

On Monday night, Jones shared handwritten notes on X (formerly Twitter) that appear to have been written during his stay at Southern Hill Hospital in Las Vegas. He accompanies his post with a message specifying that he only left the psychiatric institute on Monday.

“I was picked up by the Las Vegas Fire Department last week against my will,” read the notes shared by Jones. I was injected with a product but I don’t know what. They told me it was a court decision and the Las Vegas police showed up. I did not do anything wrong. The police said people were worried about me because of my posts on social media. I went to open my door and a group of five to seven people put me in an ambulance where I was injected with a product without my consent. »

In the notes relayed by ESPN.com, we also learn that he tried unsuccessfully to contact Dave Ziegler (GM, Raiders) and that he felt in perfect mental health during his hospitalization.

“I called him for help six to seven times and wanted to know if he was the one who sent me there, but he never answered. I’m still confused about what I might have done wrong. I am in perfect health. I am too strong of a person to be mentally fragile. »

The Raiders placed the defensive end on the non-football illness list last week. And have not yet reacted to their player’s latest disclosures.
