Carolina Panthers: Hey! Here comes Bryce Young again

Little surprise from the leader, Bryce Young (QB) will make his return at the head of Carolina's attack. Dave Canales (HC) announced it on the Panthers website this Wednesday. Andy Dalton (QB), involved in a car accident this Tuesday, was hit in the right thumb and will therefore not be able to hold his position next Sunday against Denver. His coach nevertheless hopes that he will be able to play the role of number 2, at a minimum.

The announcement of Bryce Young's tenure is somewhat…unexpected. The sophomore hasn't played since losing his spot to Andy Dalton on September 16. We cannot say that the change was radical in terms of results for Carolina which now stands at 1 victory for 6 defeats. But statistically and in visual impression, the former Bengal is light years behind Bryce Young. The number one pick in the 2023 draft is at 299 yards, 56.9% completions, 3 interceptions, no touchdowns and a rating of 49.6 in three games. Simply cataclysmic. Andy Dalton in comparison has 989 yards, 7 touchdowns, 6 interceptions and 66% of passes completed in 5 games.

It remains to be hoped for Panthers fans that the benching of Bryce Young could have served as an electric shock and that the quarterback had a revelation. The task promises to be complicated against the surprising Broncos this season.
