After Kyler Murray, Colt McCoy and Trace McSorley, the Cardinals (via Kliff Kingsbury this Friday at a press conference) are now turning to the fourth quarterback of their season: David Blough.
If the first two are injured (cruciate ligaments for Murray and concussion protocol for McCoy), it is however a demotion for McSorley, holder for the first time in his career last week against the Buccaneers (16-19 defeat in overtime) . The decision is not final, however, according to Kingsbury:
“We’re going to give Blough a chance, evaluate him, and then see. In the last week, we will see where we will be between Blough and McSorley, and we will then name the holder. »
Undrafted when he left Purdue in 2019, David Blough started five games for the Lions that year, all of which were lost. His career stats are 1033 yards thrown for 4 TDs and 7 interceptions.
It’s time for the season to end on the Glendale side.
