Browns: Kevin Stefanski extends

The Browns choose to continue the Kevin Stefanski adventure.

The Browns announced this Wednesday to have signed the contract extensions of the main coach Kevin Stefanski and the general manager Andrew Berry. Details of his new contracts have not been communicated. Cleveland thus chose to reward the best coach of last season.

In a press release, the owner couple, Jimmy and Dee Haslam, were delighted with this extension.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have Kevin Stefanski and Andrew Berry leading the Cleveland Browns. Since the day they were hired, each has worked tirelessly to help the Cleveland Browns win. We are proud of what them and the team have accomplished, but Kevin and Andrew would be the first to say that the Browns fans deserve even more. Their leadership, collaborative approach and ability to overcome obstacles bodes well for the future of this franchise. […] We are delighted that Kevin and Andrew will remain with the team for the future. »

A positive outcome for Kevin Stefanski

The Browns have been the best defense in the NFL in 2023. Since 2020, they are 37-30 in the regular season and have reached the playoffs twice, in 2020 and again in 2023. Last season, the head coach guided Cleveland despite a large number of injuries.

In addition, Kevin Stefanski was elected twice a coach of the year in just four years (2020 and 2023).
