Broncos: Randy Gregory takes the door

End of a short adventure for the defensive end.

Little surprise in Denver, Randy Gregory is released from his contract by the Broncos. According to Adam Schefter, for ESPN, the Colorado franchise wants to focus on the young players in its squad.

Arriving in 2022 with a five-year contract in his pocket, Gregory will not have even done two in Denver. He only participated in 10 games, totaling 11 tackles, 3 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. A very meager record which certainly justifies the end of his adventure in Colorado. This breach of contract will cost the Broncos $16 million in 2023, according to Spotrac.

More often suspended than decisive, Gregory will have to, at 30, find a new team ready to trust him to relaunch his career. Not easy for a player who has never had a full season in his eight-year career.
