Denver Broncos (3-7) – Las Vegas Raiders (3-7): 16-22 OT
Three shares. That’s all it takes for the Raiders to win in overtime against the Broncos. Tied 15 seconds from the end, the Raiders continued their momentum by winning the coin toss and blasting the Broncos’ good defense in the first series.
After a pass for a Foster Moreau alone, Derek Carr (23/37, 307 yards, 2TD) found a Davante Adams (7rec, 141 yards, 2TD) who had just mystified Patrick Surtain. Result, the number 17 of the Raiders seizes the ball alone and enters the endzone for the touchdown of the victory (16-22). It was still complicated for the men of Josh McDaniels but the rise of Adams, for three weeks, was saving.
Davante Adams. OT game winner. Enough said‼️

Denver is finally coming to life…
The highlight of this first half comes from Denver and its attack. Accustomed to punting in recent weeks, the Broncos do not call on their punter once in the first half!
The change of playcaller seems to be good for Russell Wilson (24/31, 247 yards) and his partners. From the outset, the attack makes a perfectly mastered first drive up 92 yards. If the locals first think of scoring on a 33-yard reception from Kendall Hinton (touchdown canceled), it is ultimately Latavius Murray (17 runs, 48 yards, 1TD) who scores on a run in force the first points of the match ( 7-0).
On his other two series, Denver scored a field goal (10-0) but missed a second just before halftime. If in fact this failure is infuriating after keeping the leather for 5 minutes and reaching the 3 opposing yards (thank you Gordon for the umpteenth fumble in the red zone…), you have to see all the offensive advance before. It was so rare in Denver at the start of the season…
Opposite the Raiders continue the momentum of recent weeks. Not everything is to be thrown away, but it generally lacks efficiency. On their first series, the penalties force Las Vegas to take the field goal, missed.
Las Vegas still opens its counter on its last offensive. Davante Adams is receiving a pass from 31 yards for the touchdown (10-7). The recipient has definitely been better for two weeks.
… well almost.
Unfortunately for Denver fans, the Broncos fail to maintain that pace in the second half. The locals must punt on two of their first three series. And when they do not go through the punt, the drive is laborious with 39 yards gained in 9 actions to end with a field goal.
On the Vegas side, if Adams remains restless, it’s not much better: punts and two field goals (13-13), there also difficult to obtain, like the second scored after 26 yards won in 10 actions…
Denver regains control of the match (16-13) at 3 minutes and 20 seconds on a field goal from 48 yards from Brandon McManus. After a punt from the Raiders, the locals have the opportunity to win the match by knocking down the clock. Except that a too conservative playcall makes them give up the leather 1 minute and 34 seconds from the end.
Las Vegas then does not miss its chance and returns to equality (16-16) with 15 seconds of the end! On the drive Derek Carr succeeds in quick succession two long passes for Cole and Jacobs. But Las Vegas blocks within 10 yards of his opponent and is content with the field goal. On to the extensions!
Davante Adams show
These are a formality for the Raiders who only need three actions to win thanks to Carr and Adams. McDaniels was once again hot.
On the Denver side, Russell Wilson and his attack played the Cinderellas on Sunday evening. After achieving an honest first half in attack, Denver gradually disappeared offensively. Again and again this bar of 16 points.
