The 30-year-old defensive end signed a one-year, $5.45 million contract exactly four months ago.
This is no surprise for the player, who had restructured his contract just a few hours ago to allow this operation. He will thus have the opportunity to sign for the team of his choice, even if it is his ex-team Chiefs which seems to hold the rope.
With a record of 1-5 at the end of the sixth week, the sales may not be over in Denver.
