Denver Broncos (3-5) – Kansas City Chiefs (6-2): 24-9
Led by a hyper-realistic Russell Wilson (12/19, 114 yards, 3 TD), Denver won a prestigious victory against its rival and a second victory in a row, a sign that the team is indeed on the mend. If the result is still largely perfectible, the regained defense and offensive efficiency are reasons for satisfaction and hope.
Opposite, perfectly controlled, Patrick Mahomes (24/38, 241 yards, 2 ints, 1 lost fumble) had a very bad evening in Colorado. Too limited offensively, both on the ground and in the air, the Chiefs sank, losing 4 balls in particular and were never able to offer an alternative and adapt to their opponents. They will have to quickly find solutions to see further into their season and their conference.
The Broncos in rhythm, the Chiefs sluggish
