Panthers out of the race for Deshaun Watson
According to NFL Media, the Panthers have been informed that they are no longer in the running for the services of Deshaun Watson (QB, Texans).
The Saints and Falcons are now the two finalists.
Atlanta can thank Matt Ryan, who agreed to postpone a $7.5 million bonus he was due to collect on Friday. The deadline is now set to next Tuesday. For the Falcons not to have to pay this bonus, Ryan must leave the workforce before Monday at 10 p.m. This element seems to indicate that the quarterback seems comfortable with staying if Watson does not come, and leaving if he arrives. Two proposals for the overtime rule
The offseason meetings arrive, and the teams make their proposals for rule changes. On the side of the extension, two proposals have officially been made.
The Colts and Eagles support a resolution that ensures both teams have the ball on offense in overtime. The Titans are proposing that both teams have the ball, unless the first team scores a touchdown and a two-point conversion.
All of this will be put to a vote in the coming weeks.

Tyler Lockett: “Colin Kaepernick is ready”… but Pete Carroll does not want it
A few days ago, Tyler Lockett (WR, Seahawks) offered Colin Kaepernick to come train with him. He kept his word. On Tuesday, on Twitter, he seemed very satisfied.
“Yes! This Kap guy is ready! he assured.
Lockett’s coach is not quite of the same opinion. On Wednesday, Pete Carroll explained to the Seattle Times that Kaepernick did contact him recently. But he doesn’t really seem ready to give it a chance.
“Carll says he deserves a second chance, but he doesn’t know if it’s in Seattle,” said journalist Bob Condotta.
