The housekeeping continues for the Bills.
After Jordan Poyer a few minutes ago, the Bills front office decides to release cornerback Tre'Davious White. ESPN specifies that the player will be free from his contract after June 1.
This will save the Bills $10 million. But, this money will only be available from June.
The cornerback was still under contract until the end of the 2025 season, earning $8.6 million per year over the past two years.

Double All-Pro since his Draft by the Bills in 2017, Tre'Davious White is enjoying his peak in 2019 with 6 interceptions. He was then rewarded with a selection to the 1st All-Pro team. He will continue the same momentum in 2020, before signing a 4-year contract extension starting with the 2021 season.
After that, the cornerback was hampered by injuries, including a recent one to his Achilles tendon. Over the last two seasons, he only played 12 matches in 2 years.
His background and experience could appeal to a title candidate team. On the other hand, his recent injuries will not help him in his quest for a new team if he wants to continue his career in the big league.
In addition to White, two other Bills players have just been released. They are Deonte Harty, receiver and primary kick returner, and Mitch Morse, the starting center. The two players complete a fire sale that frees up a total of $25 million in payroll for the Bills before the free agency.
