There will be no result for the match between the Bills and the Bengals. Because it is now secondary. The match was stopped in the first quarter when Damar Hamlin collapsed on the pitch after a shock from which he had initially recovered.

The emergency services came to try to resuscitate the player for several minutes. The safety was then taken to hospital in critical condition. The Bills issued a statement on Tuesday shortly before 8 a.m.
“Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest following a shock in our game against the Bengals. His pulse was revived on the pitch and he was transferred to hospital for further tests and treatment. He is currently sedated and in critical condition. »
A friend of the player announced on Twitter that Hamlin’s vitals would be back to normal, but he had to be put to sleep to be intubated and tests are still ongoing.
The meeting was canceled permanently. The other players were obviously in shock.
Cincinnati had scored a touchdown on the game’s first possession before Buffalo scored a field goal. It was just after, on the third offensive of the game, that Hamlin, 24, collapsed.
Troy Vincent, vice president of the NFL, confirmed to ESPN that the Bills are returning to Buffalo, although some players have chosen to stay in Cincinnati to be close to their teammate.
Hamlin was selected in the 6th round by the Bills in 2021. He started 13 games this season, with 1.5 sacks, 91 tackles and 1 forced fumble.
