Buffalo will have to finish the season without its star cornerback.
The bad news is confirmed by an MRI. Sean McDermott announced that Tre’Davious White tore his Achilles tendon, and that he will miss the end of the season. Visibly injured in the leg during a non-contact action against the Dolphins, this is the diagnosis that was feared for the Buffalo cornerback.
White suffered a torn cruciate ligament in 2021, and had to miss a year of competition. Returning in 2022, he participated in six regular season games and two playoff games.
A two-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro in 2019, White recorded 12 tackles, 1 interception and 2 passes defended in the first four games of the season.
