Allen Robinson joins the Rams

Discreet since the start of the market, the defending champions have just hit hard. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Allen Robinson commits with the Rams for 3 seasons and 46.7 million dollars of which 30.7 are fully guaranteed. Matt Stafford’s arsenal is expanding even further.

Already provided with the offensive player of the year, Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods or Van Jefferson, Los Angeles adds a seasoned and talented receiver. A pro bowler in 2015, Robinson led the league in receiving touchdowns that year. In Chicago for 4 years, he was able to produce despite a rarely obvious situation as a quarterback. In 8 seasons in the league, he caught 495 balls for 6,409 yards and scored 40 touchdowns.

His arrival raises a question mark over Odell Beckham’s immediate future. The receiver, injured during the Super Bowl, will not return to the field for several months. This signing seems to indicate that the franchise prefers an option available immediately and ready to defend the title.
