Despite rumors and questions, AJ Green (WR) is not going to move during this offseason. The Cardinals announced that the catcher has extended his contract at Arizona for one season. The amount of this new lease has not yet been revealed.
Green has started 9 of 16 games he has played in 2021. He caught 54 passes for 848 yards and three touchdowns. Unfortunately for him and his team, if his start to the season was excellent, he did not find the end zone after week 6 against the Bears.
After the departure of Christian Kirk to the Jaguars, Arizona ensures the presence of a talented veteran receiver in their workforce. With the expected return of Deandre Hopkins and the extension of Zach Ertz, Kyler Murray will find part of his squad in 2022.
