The Vikings play the polar theme card to face the winter cold of the Far North.
After the New York Giants and their retro jersey which was not unanimously accepted, it is the Minnesota Vikings who are trying their hand at the alternative jersey game for the new season. On this occasion, the Vikings are going all out on the winter theme with a “Winter Warrior” uniform which will be worn during Monday Night Football on December 16 against the Chicago Bears, in the middle of winter.
A white jersey
The teammates of the newly extended Justin Jefferson will be dressed in white from head to toe since the helmet will also be in an alternative version for the occasion, in a theme that the equipment manufacturer wanted to be “glacier” as evidenced by the photos from the shooting: What will help JJ McCarthy keep a cool head? An original jersey for the men of the North which is nevertheless reminiscent of the “All White” uniforms that the Bengals and the Browns had the opportunity to wear last season.
No worries for unconditional fans of the franchise's colors, the traditional purple is nevertheless very present on this new uniform: piping, numbers, player names, helmet horns… And will remain the main color of the Minnesota Vikings jersey for the season.
