In an interview with NFL Network in Munich (Germany), NFL commissioner Roger Goodell confirms 8 international NFL games for next season.
A few months ago, the NFL announced its intention to become a global sport. The objective of the league is to increase their presence on the international territory.
Mexico back, Spain and Ireland new countries… but not yet for France
In this interview, Roger Goodell confirms that matches will take place on Mexican soil, in Spain and potentially in Ireland as well. Mexico had been absent for 2 seasons, and will therefore once again host a regular season meeting.
Among the new countries, we therefore find Spain and potentially Ireland. These new countries will accompany the countries which have already received meetings this season, namely Brazil, the United Kingdom and Germany. These three countries will still have a match next season on their territory.
For France, we will therefore have to wait a few more years.
