Ties between San Francisco and Miami continue. After Mike McDaniel, Raheem Mostert, River Cracraft or even Trent Sherfield, a new 49ers player is arriving in Florida. Minutes after recruiting Bradley Chubb, the Dolphins step up their running game with the arrival of Jeff Wilson against a 2023 5th round pick.
The running back, undrafted in 2018, is having the best season of his career, taking advantage of Elijah Mitchell’s early-season injury. With 468 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, Miami has a runner who knows the McDaniel system, and who fills a void after the departure of Chase Edmonds in Denver.
Trade: 49ers are trading RB Jeff Wilson to Miami, per source.
