San Francisco will at least get one of its best offensive players back to meet the Vikings.

If Deebo Samuel and Trent Williams are still unavailable, Christian McCaffrey will be able to participate in the Monday evening game against the Vikings.
Even if the runner remains listed as doubtful following his oblique injury, ESPN announces his participation in the prime time match. He returned to training on a limited basis on Saturday, and said he feels “in great shape.” The fruit of the work of the 49ers medical team, who took turns at McCaffrey’s bedside all week to get him back on his feet.
Despite his reputation for fragility and heavy use, the star running back has not missed a single San Francisco game since arriving in the Bay in October 2022.
