We saw it coming for a few days, it was confirmed this Saturday. The 49ers placed Christian McCaffrey on injured reserve. The runner will therefore miss at least the next 4 games after missing week 1.
McCaffrey is still dealing with calf and Achilles injuries. While the franchise once suggested he could return in Week 2, all parties had to face the facts.
On the program for the next month without the star runner: Vikings, Rams, Patriots and Cardinals. Clashes far from insurmountable for the Californian armada.
