49ers: Brock Purdy and Nick Bosa absent against the Packers

After another frustrating defeat against the Seahawks, the San Francisco 49ers will face the Packers in a decisive game for the twelfth week of the NFL. But this game will take place without two of the Niners' biggest stars. Coach Kyle Shanahan and the franchise on social media announced the absences of quarterback Brock Purdy and edge rusher Nick Bosa for this game. It is therefore Brandon Allen who will be the quarterbacks of the Californians this weekend.

Down this season compared to 2023, Brock Purdy however did the best with the numerous injuries to the receiver positions. Author of 2,613 yards and 13 touchdowns for 8 interceptions, his team will sorely miss him and the tenure of Brandon Allen seems to reduce the chances of seeing San Francisco shine.

Nick Bosa is having a great season, with 7 sacks already on the clock. The pass rush is not the same without him and his absence is also notable.

Coach Kyle Shanahan will have a lot of work to do to overcome such absences, and the matchup against the Packers now looks like an almost insurmountable test.
