Chicago is well and truly embarking on a difficult new season. The latest episode took place Tuesday evening when Zach LaVine had to leave his teammates prematurely in the defeat he received against Boston. The Bulls’ All-Star guard was in too much pain in his right foot to be able to continue, and he therefore returned to the locker room in the middle of the third quarter, with only two points on the clock, at 1/9 shooting.
” It’s painful “he testified. “I felt it a little at first and it gradually got worse. So it no longer made sense to continue and risk something.”
Zach LaVine, however, has not been forfeited for tonight’s match against the Bucks, since his status is currently “questionable”, or “doubtful” in French. He could therefore hold his place by managing pain, and as a leader, he would like the good words of everyone to be transformed into actions.
Alex Caruso calls for efforts
“Enough discussion, we now need results”, he said. “You have to go out there and play. The season is still long. We don’t play by looking at the scoreboard. Obviously, we rather look at the ranking. But we want to try to win every match. That’s what we’re going to try to do.”
For Alex Caruso, the solution can be summed up in two words. “Collectively, there are two things that are mandatory in the NBA if you want to win games: effort and execution. If one of the two is missing, you don’t give yourself a chance of winning. It’s a frustrating thing and we can only get over it and take action.” launches Zach LaVine’s partner. “It’s your responsibility – whether you wear the Bulls, Celtics, or any other team. There is pride in playing in the NBA, and you have to show it! »
Chicago is five losses in a row before receiving Milwaukee.
