Zaccharie Risacher has fun for his first preseason outing

Good news: the French are celebrating at the start of the preseason. Alex Sarr has thus regained focus, while Tidjane Salaün multiplies the good outings, and Zacharie Risacher joined the show.

Used off the bench in victory (131-130), certainly anecdotal, against the Pacers, the first choice of the last Draft thus took advantage of the spaces to sign 18 points in 23 minutes, at 7/9 including 3/4 from afar!

His passages on the field were marked by big “runs” from his team, hence the impressive +/- of +15 that he displays in the boxscore, when the second best of his team goes to Trae Young, at +2. But beyond that, Zaccharie Risacher above all showed what he could bring, in his ability to spread the play but also to cut and position himself in the racket, sometimes even as a screener on the pick- and-roll…

As with Tidjane Salaün, it is his height (2m06) which stands out in certain sequences, where he displays a huge advantage against his direct opponents. Of course, there won't always be as much space to shoot in the regular season, and a lot more defensive pressure, but this first outing is bound to be interesting.

And his pass between the legs for Clint Capela on the counter-attack shows that he wanted to have fun.
